A file hashing program supporting MD5 and SH1
CHECKSUM is a small utility which calculates the MD5 or SHA1 filehash of a file for you.
The program has a batch mode which can calculate the checksum files for everything you give it. To do that, just type in the path of the directory and choose your options: recurse, synchronize, individual checksums, etc. CHECK can output in uppercase and add file extensions, as well as support Winamp playlists.
Finally, choose between MD5 and SHA1 to determine which algorithm you would like to use. Once completed, files will have their corresponding .hash files.
CHECKSUM is not difficult to use and is perfect for verifying the integrity of files if you're planning on sharing them.

What version of Windows can CHECKSUM run on?
CHECKSUM can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit downloads.
